Planning and Management of Distance Education in Ethiopia

When instructing students in a virtual environment, the planning and management of distance education in Ethiopia as well as other parts of the world becomes crucial to its effectiveness and usefulness to students. More than two hundred million students across the globe have taken some form of online course, but this number is expected to multiply quickly with the production of hand crank laptops in some African countries. Once the technology gap is filled, learning is now more possible than ever.

When considering the planning and management of distance education in Ethiopia, it’s best to remember that while the students are everywhere, the learning must not be as scattered. With the right tools and research capabilities, the world can become a more educated place – one student at a time.
